Riding Itinerary
7 Jan / Arrival Taipei. Transfer to hotel / Bike setup
8 Jan / We will be departing from Kaohsiung (2nd largest city of Taiwan ) to Wutai Township via Guchuan Bridge.
The bridge is the tallest bridge pier in Taiwan so be ready for the views. After that, we will be climbing up thru the switchback to the peak at 1,200m and enjoy more photo opportunities view from the top. (62km / 2400m)
9 Jan / We will be riding along the coast from Wutai to Kenting. Experience the strong sea wind as the beautiful beach roll by.
We will also visit Donggang Fishery port, famous for the fresh Bluefin tuna. (145km / 750m)
10 Jan / We will be riding from Kenting to the Southern most point in Taiwan via the National Park. Past the scenic coastal route towards Eluanbi Lighthouse.
Kengting National Park in Hengchun Peninsula is the First National park in Taiwan. The endpoint of 520km Taiwan Northeast /Southeast Lighthouse race. (115km / 1300m)
11 Jan / We start at East Coast of Taiwan with the Pacific Ocean view along the route. After the view, we ride inland towards famous Huatung rice field. The ride will end at Chishang. The township produce best rice in Taiwan. (76km / 3300m)
12 Jan / Final day of the trip. From Chishang township to Liokou hot springs. This route is the Southern Crossing Mountain route of Taiwan. Transfer to Taipei (75km / 3200m)
