Cycling Helmets FAQ
Measure your head circumference about an inch above your eyebrows. The helmet should cover the forehead one or two finger-widths above your brows, and the strap form a snug “V” under your ears with just enough room for one or two fingers. Ensure the helmet doesn’t shift more than one inch when shaken.
Replace your helmet if it’s involved in a crash or shows visible damage. Even without impact, manufacturers recommend replacing it every 3–5 years, as UV exposure and wear degrade the foam’s protective capability over time.
Wipe the shell with mild soap and lukewarm water. Hand wash removable pads and air dry; avoid solvents or bleach. Don't store it in extreme heat to preserve the foam’s integrity.
